High stone walls full of character and history are the backdrop to this once secret, neglected garden.  

The deep, long plan was divided into three rooms, including a lushly planted terrace, a levelled square lawn and a Mediterranean gravel garden.  The elegant, bespoke-designed series of fine steel arches breaks down the symmetry and widens the space.
