Lush, textural, borders delight the senses and immerse you in the planting.
Situated in the heart of historic Sherborne, the north facing borders in this walled courtyard garden needed an update. A sun trap during the high summer months, but gloomy in the winter, the long narrow space was divided up into a terraced dining space and a cool green lawn for summer relaxation. Structural, clipped glossy, evergreen shapes
were inserted between airy lperennials, summer bulbs and self seeding annuals. On warm summer days the dining area is immersed in tflowers, fragrance, and alive with the sound of buzzing insects. Bright clipped evergreen shrubs bring colour and life to the garden during the winter months.
